The following are some of the best religious sites on the web! Each one has been featured by Mary's Remnant, and each has something very special to recommend it. There's a wealth of information waiting for you! Some of these sites are nearly "bottomless" ... they take weeks to explore properly.

So - don't waste any more time! Pull on your swampers and grab your binoculars! A whole world is waiting for you!

The Cross and the Veil

This is the second time we feature this web site ... and it's worth it. We featured it early in the year, and then it vanished for a while, and reluctantly, we removed it from our Links and Favorite Sites pages. Recently, I came across it again by accident, and I was absolutely delighted - and relieved.

This is one of the best discernment web sites I've ever seen. They cut through all of the garbage and zero in on exactly what's wrong with: the New Age, Yoga, Reiki, Centering Prayer ... and so very much more. Please take time to go to this website, and bookmark it for future reference.

Priests for Life

Priests for Life

This is a very special web site. The work they do is so important - and they are so good at it, too. Fr. Pavone writes a regular column, which we always post. Now you can see the Priests for Life site for yourself! Don't forget to use your bookmark ... and pass it on to all of your friends -especially those that aren't pro-life.

Catholic.net

Catholic.net

Catholic.net is a real gem! Here is what they have to say about themselves:

"Catholic.net is the new, successor site to the Catholic Information Center on the Internet (CICI), one of the pioneering Catholic web sites since its inception in 1995.

In the new Catholic.net, you'll find everything you've come to expect from CICI - access to leading Catholic magazines and newspapers, papal encyclicals, Church documents, helpful devotional services - all in a new, smartly-designed and streamlined format.

But there's more. Every day, you'll get the latest Catholic news from around the world, straight from the highly-regarded, Rome-based Zenit News Service.

And on a weekly basis, you’ll get a sampling of the most relevant and stimulating Catholic content, culled from hundreds of Catholic publications and web sites. They’ll be highlighted in our newsletter, delivered weekly to your e-mail box.

What's more, you get our guarantee that the content will be 100% in accord with the teachings of the Pope and the living Magisterium of the Church.

Every day there's more and more Catholic content published on the web. Articles, documents, interviews, papers, testimonials, prayers, merchandise, web sites. It's clear evidence of the Holy Spirit's active presence on the internet.

But much of it is hard to find.

Catholic.net is the answer to that problem. Instead of spending hours searching and researching on your own, Catholic.net does it for you. We sift through the quantity on the web to bring you the quality. We act as your personal gateway to the internet.

As we enter the new Millenium, we look forward, with the help of God's grace, to serving your information needs, and to working with you to help the Church build the civilization of truth and love."

Children of the Rosary

Children of the Rosary

This is a very nice pro-life site. Their purpose is "Using Prayer To End Abortion"... and they are doing their very best to make it happen. Included on the site are samples of letters to send to pro-abortion companies ... places and times for group rosaries in front of abortion clinics ... pro-life items that can be purchased ... and more. Take a look - and don't forget to use your bookmark!

Faithmag.com

Faith Magazine online! Another very nice site! Faithmag.org not only has some very interesting and pertinent articles, but also features a forum, news, links, a priest who will answer your questions by email "one on one," and a variety of other things. You can download the current issue in .pdf format, and there's also a ton to see and do right there on the web. Take a look, and don't forget to bookmark it! :-)

Peter's Voice
Peter's Voice

Mary Ann has found us another really nice site! Peter's Voice has more links than almost any other site I've ever been to. It is partnered with several other sites, including ALL and Crisis Magazine, and signing up with Peter's Net gets you freebies from most of its partners. Even if you don't want to sign up, Peter's Voice still has far more material than you can peruse in just one sitting! Make sure you use your bookmark! :-)

Catholic Online

Another lucky find! This website offers a huge index of saints for those who like to learn more about their lives, a "Catholic PRWire" for some of the latest Catholic news, shopping, website services, webmail, and much more ...this site is a "must see." Don't forget to bookmark it!

St. Michael Cyberspace Monastery

St. Michael Cyberspace Monastery

This site is a real find! It includes a place to leave your prayer intentions, apologetics, instruction, an outreach to those who are chronically ill, a chat room, a huge library ... and so much more. I haven't even touched on the greatest part of it. This site is faithful to the Holy Father. If you don't bookmark this one, you'll be that much poorer for it.

Catholic Familyland

Mary Ann found this one for us. This site is in a category all its own! Family Safe TV, "Getaway" Marriage Retreats, educational tools, daily prayers, and much much more! This is a wonderful site with an amazing amount of information. Definitely another one to exercise your book-marking skills on! :)

Simbahayan: Buhay-Pagtatanggol

I was made aware of this web site by Dr. Brian Kopp ... and I was amazed at the wealth of prolife information contained on the site. This is what it has to say about its purpose:

"Catholic teaching accepts the natural truth that the family is the basic human society. On top of its natural dignity, the family has been raised by Jesus Christ -- by virtue of the Sacrament of Matrimony -- to the nature of a "Domestic Church". The wider community of believers more commonly known as "the Church" is best understood in turn to be the "Family of God", a communion of persons with God as Father, we as children (through, with and in Jesus Christ His Son), and with a divinely appointed mother, Mary the mother of Jesus. Buhay-Pagtatanggol refers to the last of five main segments of family life formation adopted by the Simbahayan sa Maynila. The family and human life itself has come under siege. Pope John Paul II himself has warned against the "culture of death" and "conspiracy against life" and urges one and all to vigorously promote a "civilization of life". The following is your jumping board to specific subject areas on defending life and the family, examined from the perspectives of faith, science, and experience. "

Take the time to check this out and bookmark it. It's more than worth it.

InUnity Catholic Charismatic Renewal

This is one very nice Charismatic web site! There's a wealth of information on this site, including a very nice library. InUnity is faithful to the Holy Father. This is what it says about itself:

"InUnity Catholic Charismatic Renewal Web Site is dedicated to glorifying God our Father, to exalting Jesus Christ to and leading us all to be more open to the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit in our times, and to delighting in God's Creation. We are a Web presence testifying to the power of the Risen Lord, through the Holy Spirit, and although aimed to encourage Catholics to accept the gifts we have received through our baptism and confirmation for our own growth, for the upbuilding of God's Church and for evangelisation, it is our sincere hope that through these pages, all may come to find peace and healing in the Lord Jesus, whatever your denomination, and that any visitors who don't yet know Christ will take the time to linger ... and that you will come back often for frequent updates and items of interest."
