Note: St. Cornelius was a defender of the Papacy - right after he was elected Pope, Novation also claimed the papacy. However, Cornelius called a synod, gained the support of 60 bishops, and re-established himself as the rightful Pope. Does this mean a false pope is about to enter the picture? At the very least, I would think it means for us to pray to St. Cornelius for the Pope AND the papacy.

There were faint little symbols of some sort along the margins, and I think a few across the line dividing the light grey from the dark. This was what it looked like AFTER the flash. As I thought about how to describe this, I was immediately given the sense of lost data.
