WHO FIXED THE ELECTIONS?
On Saturday, almost 1,000 people in attendance at St. Bernadette's Church in Orchard Park, New York, heard Father John Corapi relate a story of an incident that occurred when our last presidential election appeared to be going nowhere, with day after day going by with no decision as to who would be our next president. In response to this dilemma, a Mexican lady and her husband went to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in Mexico and consecrated our presidency to the Blessed Virgin Mary, also know as Our Lady of Guadalupe. The result of the consecration was almost immediate and Gov. George Bush was elected president of the United States. Who was the Husband of this Mexican lady? Jeb Bush, a Roman Catholic.
Although President Bush is not a Catholic, one of his first agenda items was a visit with Mr. Fox, President of Mexico and one of their agenda items was a visit to the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. I had forwarded a news article which detailed President Bush's familiarity with this Marian Shrine.
Now the vast number of Blessed Virgin Mary detractors will claim all this was just a coincidence, but this is what we would expect from them, but it was obvious the President Bush seemed to give it a more credibility to the incident since His decision to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe did not take very long.
How did Father Corapi know this? The pastor of Jeb Bush's church is a very close friend of his. For most of us this turn of events is no surprise because millions of God fearing Christians prayed endlessly that Gov. Bush would win the election and the results that occurred were an example of God's intervention in response to the multitude of prayers. And the same people continue to pray for our new President and those who try to impede his efforts to turn this country around after eight years of moral decay.
