Here is another message that Joyce was afraid to post. We thank Luz Diaz for writing this, and giving us permission to post it here.
A HEAVENLY MEMORANDUM
TO: ALL RECIPIENTS OF SEERS -- FROM JOYCE LANG DEAR ONES - TODAY I AM WRITING THIS NOTE BECAUSE AS I PRAYED THIS MORNING AT HOLY MASS, WHILE I INCLUDED JOYCE LANG IN MY PRAYERS I FELT I NEEDED TO WRITE THIS...... AND HERE I AM. JOYCE DOES NEED OUR HELP TO KEEP UP THE WORK SHE IS DOING..... A TASK WHICH MEANS SO MUCH BECAUSE IT IS WORKING TO KEEP MANY, MANY PEOPLE INFORMED OF MESSAGES FROM HEAVEN THRU HUMAN BEINGS GOD CHOSE TO USE FOR HIS REACHING ALL. AS WE SEE EVERY DAY, WE RECEIVE HER E-MAILS AND WE ARE WITNESSES THAT EVEN WHEN HER COMPUTER BREAKS DOWN OR SOME OTHER DIFFICLUTY SHOWS UP, JOYCE GIVES US HER APOLOGIES. AND I AM SURE YOU NOTICE WHEN SHE WORKS OVERTIME SO THAT IMPORTANT MESSAGES OR ARTICLES, REACH US ON TIME. I KNOW WE NEED TO GIVE HER A HELPING HAND...... NORMALLY I DO NOT WRITE THINGS LIKE THIS BUT AS I SAID, DURING MASS WHILE PRAYING, I KNEW I WOULD WRITE IT. PLEASE LET US SEND SOME DONATION TO JOYCE. NO MATTER HOW SMALL OUR AMOUNT IS, I KNOW IF THERE ARE A LOT OF SMALL AMOUNTS, JOYCE WILL SEE A LARGE ONE! FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I KNOW, THAT BECAUSE THIS IS SUCH A WORHTY CAUSE, GOD WILL AT HIS TIME, IN HIS WAY, RETURN TO US A HUNDRED FOLD. THANK YOU FOR WHATEVER YOU CAN SEND JOYCE. I AM STARTING A PRAYER ON BEHALF OF THIS REQUEST, THAT THE LORD IN HIS LOVING CARE, GIVE US THE WAY TO HELP AND THAT HIS BLESSING BE WITH US ALL SO WE CAN CONTINUE RECEIVING HER E-MAILS AND THE GRACE TO BENEFIT SPIRITUALLY FROM HER DEDICATED MISSION WHICH IS NONE OTHER THAN, "TO SERVE HIM BY REACHING SO MANY WITH WORDS THAT GIVE US LIGHT IN A WORLD THAT EVERYDAY GETS DARKER". HUMBLY GRATEFUL, Luz Diaz |

Here is a very nice exchange of letters between a gentleman from Texas and I. He's allowed me to leave his name and email address on. He has a lot of good things to say. Thank you Charles, and may God bless you! I only hope that people will read your words with their hearts open.
Letter #1
Dear M's R.,
Thank you for defending Joyce Lang. She is truly a laborer of our Lord. I had wondered about her situation. The few comments she made indicated that she is getting by on a shoestring of resources. She does have a right before God to receive from us sustenance for what she gives freely. Her activity just has to consume endless hours of her life.
I am out of work presently but had a hopeful interview today. A good "maybe". If I get this job (or any job!) I'll be able to help financially.
If I were rich, Joyce would get the latest PC (1+gig CPU, 40+ HD, huge bright monitor, etc) (under 2,000) and a cable modem with private line for as long as she wanted them. (Cable modems are SUPER fast. My brother-in-law has one.) She should be given at least an E-Systems computer ($500-600 approx). Her favorite software could be migrated over.
I'll save her address for when I do get $ again. I will print your fine support letter and take it with me when I go before Jesus tonight (and the rest of the week).
In Jesus,
From: Mary's Remnant Ministry Peace and Blessings Charles, Your email was music to my heart. Yes, I agree that Joyce deserves to receive help with her needs in return for all that she does for us. It seems that every time anyone has tried to help Joyce receive a bit of help to continue doing her work, she's received hate mail. May the Good Lord preserve anyone who sends her hate mail this time ... *cough cough* Would you allow me to post your letter on Monday? If so, would you like your name removed, or would you like it to remain? We need to try to keep Joyce's plight in people's minds so that she won't fall between the cracks. If you would rather not, simply let me know - and I'll certainly respect your wishes. Thank you again Charles. Not all of us can help financially, but we can all help with prayers ... and I was delighted when you said you would take the matter to Jesus in prayer! May the Lord bless your generous heart,
In the Two Hearts, Letter #3 - his final response
Dear Doris,
Yes. You may use my prior email as you requested. Go ahead and leave my name and e-address in there if you wish. Makes the note more real. Complaints do not bother me. I just add the complainers to my prayer list. People who just want to ride the boat without helping to row have yet to comprehend the basic message Jesus spent three years on Earth trying to make stick in our dim souls.
Joyce is a special person. God picked her for the particular service she performs. Her paper route business in the tip off of her unique suitability to the task she accepted.
("P:" is paper route, "E:" is Email route.)
P: Has to pick up the paper bundles.
P: Has to wrap or roll each paper.
P: Has to drive and throw the paper route.
P: Gets complaints about "Where's my paper today?"
P: Gets complaints about the delivery service and the cost.
P: Gets few, if any, compliments or thanks for keeping with it.
P: Resolutely endures the monotonous day after day routine of paper route - gather it and deliver.
P: Sticks with the business out of a desire to serve others (without being beat up for it).
Is anyone willing to trade places with our Joyce? Step way forward, please.
Anyone want to gripe? Go someplace else. Get off the list. Go get your own news.
----------------------------
Feel free to post this note, too, if you so desire. I have no time or use for complainers. If it would relieve Joyce, relay some of that "hate" mail to me. I'll help expand their awareness of how the world operates and where their temporary place is in it! Along the way I'll find out just how my Christian charity matches up with my Christian justice.
If you think Joyce might need more morale support, maybe send her this note, too.
I'm done. |

Here at Mary's Remnant, we've been watching the situation with Joyce (from Joycelist) for a long while now, and both Mary Ann and I are becoming very concerned. Not only is Joyce exhausting herself with this work - which takes all of her free time - she's also working on equipment that is ancient and untrustworthy, with a slow phone modem, a provider that has restrictive policies, and one internet account which she has to share with other members of her household. Yahoo is about curtail her work, and as far as I know, she still has no place else to turn.
I asked Joyce why she didn't put out a call to her faithful readers for help, and she told me that it was illegal for her to do so over Yahoo, and also that when it had been done for her by others before, she'd received nasty mail from people. I couldn't believe it! I really thought she had to be exaggerating! I then tacked a plea for help for her onto the end of an announcement about a new page on our web site, and I asked her to post it. At first she wouldn't do it, and then, when she finally did, she wouldn't put her address on it so that people could help her because she didn't feel up to receiving the "hate mail" she was certain it would generate!!! NOTE: If you are not someone who would do such a thing, then you may want to skip the next paragraph, because I'm not going to pull any punches. :: Honestly, I can not understand the amazing selfishness of a person who would harass someone for asking for help! Shame on those of you who would do such a thing! Those of you who have done such a thing should crawl off to confession now and place your hard-hearted selfishness in God's hands! I hope you haven't gone to Communion after doing such a thing without hitting the confessional first! Let me tell you all now that Joyce is not the one writing this, and has had no part whatsoever in any of this, and if you answer her instead of me, it's still me you're going to have to deal with, because I'm going to ask her to forward your email to me. I promise you that people will know the names and email addresses of those who do such things! :: I exhort you all in the merciful Name of Jesus to remember that a "laborer is worthy of his hire!" Also remember that when the Lord sent the apostles and disciples out, He ordered them to take nothing with them - not even a snack - and no extras of any kind. Why? Because the people they were ministering to were expected to take complete care of them - their food, their persons if they hurt themselves, replacing their basic clothing needs if something happened to what they were wearing - in short, everything! In turn, the disciples ministered the Word of Life to them, and trusted God to move the hearts of the people to see to their basic needs. Joyce puts in hours a day to keep all of us informed on every one of the latest messages, all of the pertinent news, everything! That's easily 5 to 8 hours of work daily, if not more! She may not be able to continue sending out the messages without help. It's only right that we reach out and help her, we're the ones benefitting from her unselfish work. We need to reach out and help her - and not just once. Joyce is very humble, and lives in humble conditions. She and her husband are not in the best of health, and she earns money by delivering papers. To continue, she's going to need us to remember her as generously as we can, and as often as we can. Those who can't afford to send a check or a money order can at the very least pray for Joyce and her ministry. Say a Rosary for her! All of us who belong to joycelist can help in one way or another. Here is her address:
Mrs. Joyce Lang We must not take the blessings of the Lord for granted. If Joyce stops sending out messages, many of them will no longer be available in a timely manner. Things are happening very quickly in the world today, and I certainly want Joyce to be able to continue warning us of what's up ahead, don't you? Our check is in the mail - how about yours? |
