YOU ARE MY FRIENDS IF YOU LISTEN TO MY WORDS
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on a dark and foggy morning! The sun should be out later today
once this fog lifts. I was at the Manor yesterday for the celebration of
the Holy Eucharist with many of the residents. My mother was present in
the chapel and prayed with us.
In my usual 30-minute prayer this morning, Jesus was present and He spoke to me saying, "Melvin, my friend, I embrace you. Let us continue our walk together. Our strong friendship will sustain you and help you through any problem you may face. My people, it is not the glamour of the world, or money, or material things that is important. These will disappear or get old and be discarded one day. What will last for all eternity is your relationship with me, your love for your brothers and sisters, and all your good deeds. Through the various experiences of life, which can be painful at times, you will learn to rely on me and come to realize that you are powerless without my strength. Your ego, your pride, will have to diminish, and I, your Saviour, must grow in your heart. I need to become the most important person in your life. Your life must be linked completely with me. I need to be in you and you in me and this indwelling should grow every day. My indwelling in your heart will enrich your life and fulfill it. You need, though, to make an effort to come and spend time with me each day. We have to be great friends. You are my friends if you listen and act on my words. I love you."
The doctrine of the indwelling of God in our hearts is very precious indeed. Jesus teaches us about this doctrine in John chapter 15 which deals with the vine and the branches. He is the vine and we are the branches. This is a beautiful image of how the life of God is present in us if we are united with Jesus. We receive this New Life at Baptism and it grows in our hearts, provided we do not destroy it through sin. The sacrament of reconciliation restores this life to us if we repent of our sins. The Lord wants all of us to be aglow with this new life of His. Jesus then can become our friend and more than a friend for He changes us into Himself by giving us His own life. If we are His friend then we will listen to His words.
Let us invite Jesus to come and live in our hearts forever.

TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
In my time with the Lord this morning, Jesus spoke to me saying, "Melvin, I
love you, my brother. My heart burns for you and all my brothers and
sisters. My great desire is that you all become part of my family joined
together in great faith and love. My heart is often crowned with thorns
because of the many who live in darkness and sin. The devil has ensnared so
many in a prison of addictions, fears, hurts, resentment, sex, anger and
depression. Know that I am the only one who can break down the walls of this
prison. I can set you free. Once you have found me and come into the light,
continue to break down more and more walls of fear and anger. In this way,
I will grow daily in you and our relationship will become strong. Life
should be a growing in holiness every day. It is an emptying of yourself of
everything that is foreign to me, and a filling of your whole being with me.
I will not remove the cross from your life, but I will give you my strength
to carry it. These words of mine are recorded in the Gospel: "Take up your
cross and follow me." Together with me, you will win, but do not forget to
ask for my grace. I love you."
Jesus carried His cross right up to Calvary and died on it. Each one of us,
has his or her own cross to carry. Jesus never said that He would take it
away but that He would help us to carry it. As Simon of Cyrene helped Jesus
to carry His cross, so Jesus helps us to carry ours. We have to ask Him for
His help and believe that He will help us. So many people are hurting,
because of what happened in their childhood, or because of addictions of
various kinds. It is like being in a big hole and finding no way out. In
fact, there is only one who can help us in such situations. That one is
Jesus and so often we look everywhere else but to Him. Let us turn to Him
in great faith and trust, and hand over our lives to Him. He will set us
free.
I will go to the Manor this afternoon for the celebration of the Holy
Eucharist at 1:30 with the residents. My mother will surely be there, and as
usual she will answer all the prayers.
May the Lord strengthen our faith in Him, so that we may trust in Him at all
times.

ACCEPT THE GIFT OF MY PEACE
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
I had my usual half hour of contemplative prayer this morning before breakfast in Egmont Bay. I was with Jesus who spoke to me saying, "Melvin, I love you. You are at Egmont Bay Church for the weekend celebrations of the Eucharist. I bless all the people here who pray and all those throughout the world who make an effort to go to Church on Saturday evening or on Sunday morning. My people, you come to church to praise and worship God. You listen to the various readings from the Bible and you listen attentively when the priest or the deacon reads the passage from the Gospel, which contains my very words. Most of all though, you come to worship the Father and to receive me in Holy Commu- nion. I instituted the Eucharist on Holy Thursday with my Apostles and gave them the command 'do this in memory of me.' The Bishops and the Priests, the successors of the Apostles, faithfully consecrate My Body and Blood for you, my people. After the consecration I am present in the hosts and in the chalice. I am truly alive in the Eucharist as the Resurrected One with my humanity and divinity. I am there in body and soul as food for you. By means of the Eucharist I come to live in your heart. How special you are that I, your Lord and Saviour, come and live in your very being! Respect yourself, as you are consecrated by me and loved by me. Avoid sin, especially resentment against anyone. Live in purity of heart, and think of me often who am your guest. Bring me your burdens, all your worries and problems, and I will refresh you. Accept the gift of my peace. I bless you all."
It is God Himself who gave us the law to keep holy the Sabbath day. For us Christians, the Sabbath day is Sunday as Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday. By His resurrection Jesus renewed the whole world, and so we have a new beginning. All should go to church out of love for Jesus who is Our Saviour and Our Friend.
It is in Chapter 6 of St. John's Gospel, that Jesus teaches us without any doubt what the Holy Eucharist is all about. He tells us: "I am the bread of life." We believe that the Risen Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist in His humanity and divinity as He exists today in heaven. We receive in Holy Communion the living Jesus, the Lord and Redeemer of us all, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Indeed what a great gift the Holy Eucharist is! We should hunger for the Eucharist every day. Jesus makes us holy as He is holy. Let us strive then to follow Jesus every day.
I will go to Palmer Road Church this evening at 7:30 for the seminar in the Life of the Spirit.
Let us open our hearts to Jesus and accept whatever He wishes to give
us.

I PRAY FOR YOU CONSTANTLY
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
I was with Jesus at the beginning of my prayer. He spoke to me saying, "Melvin, I am the Risen One who lives with you. I love you and I guide you every day. As it is Saturday let us go and visit Our Mother." I agreed gladly and Jesus took me to her home. She greeted us saying, "Jesus and Melvin welcome to my home and your home. Come and sit here in this room. Jesus, my Son, what joy it was for me to see you risen from the dead. Now I can be with you always. Melvin, my priest son, I am your mother who cares for you and prays for you and all my children constantly. You know my favourite prayer is the rosary. It is a powerful prayer for those who pray it with devotion. In the past many stopped praying the rosary but today many are coming back to pray it daily. My children, I am your mother, you gladden my heart when you come together to pray the rosary. Some too live alone and pray the rosary alone and I bless them too. Do not forget to pray the rosary every day. Pray for the conversion of all the people in the world who do not believe in my Son, Jesus. Pray too for those who are ensnared in sin that they may receive enlightenment to repent and return to following their Saviour. I cannot end without asking you to pray for my shrine to be built in Prince Edward Island. Pray that permission may be granted soon for a building to be used for that purpose. Later on a proper shrine will be constructed. I bless you all my children."
I felt great joy to be with Our Lady this morning. She was very welcoming and she opened her heart to Jesus and me. She calls us all to pray. She wants us to pray every day. She always calls us to pray the rosary with devotion. Her great desire is the conversion of all the people that they may return to Jesus, her Son. We all need to be converted and come closer to the Lord. She calls us to pray that the shrine on the Island will become a reality soon. She knows that it has to begin on a small scale and she wants a small beginning to be made soon. Let us offer prayers and sacrifices for this intention.
This afternoon I will go again to the Parish Church of Egmont Bay for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist this evening and again tomorrow at 10:00 AM. I will come home Sunday afternoon after the last Mass at Summerside at noon. I hope to send out the message Sunday afternoon.
May the Lord keep us close to Him and may Our Lady always pray for us, her children.

JESUS IS YOUR FOOD
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
In prayer this morning, Jesus took me to the throne of the Father. Jesus
began by saying, "Melvin, I love you and I will always love you. Let us
go this morning and visit Our Father." I agreed and Jesus took me to His
Throne. I adored the Father on my knees. He spoke saying, "Jesus and
Melvin welcome and come and sit near me. Jesus, my Son, you are risen
and now you sit at my right hand. Your love for my people is very great
as you showed by offering yourself in sacrifice for them all. Melvin,
Jesus' friend, I love you. You offer to me every day Jesus' sacrifice on
the cross for the salvation of the people of the world. You honour me
and please me. Many graces are won for the people through the divine
liturgy. It is the greatest prayer the world has ever seen. Always be
faithful to its celebration. May the people come to take part in the
Holy Eucharist as often as they can, every day if possible. May they
receive the Body and Blood of Jesus with great fervor and reverence. It
is the Risen Jesus who is present in the Eucharist alive in His humanity
and divinity. He is your daily food on your journey to me. This
spiritual food will strengthen you to avoid the snares of the devil. It
will keep your minds and hearts on the right way and Jesus will be at
your side. I bless you all my children."
The Heavenly Father always cares for us, His children. He shows us an
excellent way to remain always united to Him and to Jesus. This way is
the daily participation in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and the
reception of the Risen Lord in Holy Communion. It is in the Gospel of
John, Chapter 6, that Jesus teaches us the importance of the Holy
Eucharist. Let me quote a few verses from this chapter. Verse 35 reads:
"Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will
never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst." Verse 51
reads, "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats
this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh
for the life of the world." Verse 53, "Jesus said to them, 'Amen, amen
I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his
blood, you do not have life within you." Verse 55, "For my flesh is true
food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my
blood remains in me and I in him."
These verses from John's Gospel gives us the true doctrine about the
Eucharist which all believers are asked to believe with all their heart.
They come from the Bible, the authentic Word of God. What a wonderful
gift the Lord has given us. Let us take advantage of it.
May the Lord strengthen our faith in the Holy Eucharist and give us the
desire to receive the Bread of Life every day.

I AM WAITING FOR YOU
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
I spent my 30 minutes in prayer with Jesus. He spoke to me saying,
"Melvin, I love you. I am always with you and I shower my love upon you.
The first Christian Community was made up of myself and the twelve
Apostles. We traveled everywhere together, we slept where we could find
a place and ate what the people gave us. We had everything in common. I
instructed them every day. They witnessed many miracles while they were
with me but most of all they are witnesses of my suffering, death and
resurrection. I appeared to them many times after I rose from the dead.
I gave them power to lead my Church and to act in my name. This Church
will last till the end of time. I will be in my Church always. I have
given the Church the gift of the Eucharist, which is my real Body and
Blood. You can have life only by eating my Body and drinking my Blood. I
have given the Apostles and their successors the power to forgive sins
in my name. Take advantage of these great gifts. They are expressions of
my love and mercy. These gifts will renew you and bring you close to me.
My people, I am waiting for you to turn to me. I am your brother. I love
you and desire you to open your heart to me. I call you today to follow
me. I bless you all."
What a privilege it was for the Apostles to form the first Christian
Community with Jesus as their head. Jesus taught them as a group and
they were present at many of His miracles. It is in this same group that
the Apostles experienced what it means to be part of a Small Christian
Community. All Christians should belong to such a community and meet
around the Bible especially the Gospels, which contain the words of the
Lord. In this way Jesus is among us through His word. What great gifts
Jesus has given His Church for us. The greatest is the gift of the Holy
Eucharist and another is the Sacrament of Penance or reconciliation.
They are meant to help us to remain close to the Lord. The Risen Jesus
is always waiting for us to come to Him in prayer, to visit Him in
Church, or to confess our sins and receive His pardon. He wants to use
our hands to help others and our mouths to bless them. May we bring the
Lord's love to all we meet.
I will celebrate the Holy Eucharist for a group of children in Tignish
this evening. I will give a short explanation of what goes on when we
celebrate Holy Mass.
Let us thank the Lord for all He does for us especially for the gifts of
His Body and Blood and of pardon in the sacrament of penance.

LET ME BE YOUR CLOSE FRIEND
Dear Paul, Rita and friends,
In prayer this morning Jesus spoke saying, " Melvin, my brother, I
embrace you. You belong to me by a special bond. What joy to be united
in prayer every day. My heart aches to know that although many have
received great gifts from me, they no longer believe in me. They have
rejected me saying that I am not relevant in these modern times. I am,
they say, ancient and should be discarded for something like the New Age
Movement and the new religions that are fast coming up. Some even think
that worshiping the devil is the best. How deluded people can become. I
am not ancient, I am eternal and more modern that any New Age people.
Even though I lived two thousand years ago, that is nothing for me for I
am divine. I am eternal and one day for me is like a thousand years.
Those who abandon me do so because they want to live a life of sin. They
want to be their own gods. They will be rudely awakened one day when it
is too late. My people, peace and joy can only be found in me. I am your
only Saviour. I hold in my hands the key of life and death. I love you
and you can be my friends if you follow the commandments. It is in this
way that you show your love for me. Do not give Satan a place in your
life for he will take everything you have, even life itself. Let me be
your close friend. I bless you."
If there is one who is alive and modern it is Jesus. By His Resurrection
He is totally alive, never to die again. He is the Lord of yesterday
today and tomorrow. He holds everything in His hands. Why are so many
rebelling against Him and refusing to follow Him? Our faith is weakened
because of our pride, our false ideas that we can live without God,
which is nothing but a temptation from the evil one. We are made to be
friends of God and live in union with Him. Let us put Jesus first in our
lives and we will find the peace and joy that we crave for. We are to
worship God alone and to love Him with all our hearts. In doing this we
fulfill the first commandment of God. Let us come to the Lord with all
our heart. Let us forget ourselves and follow Him.
May the Lord give us the grace to believe in Him with all our heart and
the strength to serve Him every day of our lives.

LET US CHERISH THE GIFT OF LIFE
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
This morning I was with Jesus in prayer. He spoke to me these words,
"Melvin, I love you. Today you are celebrating the Annunciation, the day
I was conceived. This is a great day for my Mother, so, let us go and
visit her." I agreed and Jesus took me to her home. She greeted us
saying, "Welcome Jesus and Melvin on the Feast of the Annunciation. Come
in and sit down. Jesus, my Son, today by my "yes" to the Archangel
Gabriel, you were conceived; you became man. Melvin, my priest son, you
will celebrate today the Holy Eucharist in honour of the Annunciation
of my Son. At His conception, Jesus was already given His name. Although
He was very tiny, He was already a child but yet born. I cherished this
new life in me and I knew that the Messiah of the world had come. I
submitted wholeheartedly to the Will of God when I was asked to be the
Mother of the Saviour. As a Mother, I call all mothers to cherish human
life from the moment of conception till natural death. What a great
privilege we have to bring forth life. Let us never destroy this gift of
life in us, this new child of God, but let us accept this child with all
our heart. Pray, my children, for all those who have killed their unborn
child that they may repent of this terrible sin and find mercy in Jesus,
my Son, in their sorrow. Let us welcome every child for he or she comes
from God. I bless you all."
The Feast of the Annunciation, which is usually celebrated on March
25th, is celebrated today April 8th. The reason for this is that March
25th happened to fall during Holy Week this year. The days of Holy
Week take precedence over every other feast, so this Feast had to be
postponed till today. Our Lady truly cherished the New Life that started
in her on this day. Let us read and meditate upon the words of St.
Luke's Gospel (Luke 1, 26 - 38) which describes what happened when the
Archangel Gabriel come to visit Our Lady. He teaches us who Jesus is. He
tells her twice that Jesus is the Son of God. He explains to her how she
will conceive through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our Blessed Mother
gave her "yes" to the angel in these words, "Here am I, the servant of
the Lord; let it be with me according to your word." this is truly the
attitude of a child of God. We should say these words to God every day
in order to do what the Lord asks of us.
Let us thank God the Father for sending His Son, Jesus, to be born among
us. Let us also thank Our Blessed Mother for saying "yes" to God. May we
submit ourselves completely to Jesus, Our Lord, and accept Him as Our
Redeemer.

ALWAYS REMEMBER I LOVE YOU
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
I spent the whole time of my contemplative prayer with Jesus. He spoke
saying, "Melvin, my friend, I love you. You are special to me. Our union
is a source of great joy for me. Through you I able to touch many
friends of mine. Melvin, continue to be docile to me so that many may
become my close friends. My resurrection from the dead has changed the
world permanently. I am the leader of all those who believe. I enlighten
their minds and give them the graces they need to avoid evil and to
follow me. My dear friends, do not fear to come close to me. I am always
waiting for your visit. Come to me in prayer, especially contemplative
prayer, and our relationship will grow. I love you all and I proved it
to you by my suffering and death on the cross. I thirst for your love
and your dedication to me. Come and learn from me. I am your teacher
who will lead you in all the truth. Be watchful and careful about what
you hear and read. Much of it is only human opinion and often it is far
from the truth. Come to me in prayer and I will teach you the truth from
my heart. Read the Gospels and my words will teach you. Place your heart
and mind in the things of God and not in the talk of the day which has
little value most of the time. Always remember, I love you and I want
you to reflect to others my love and my joy. I bless you all."
How true Jesus is when He tells us this morning that so much of what we
hear and read these days are of little value. Pages are written about
the opinion of this one or that one, about all kinds of things such as:
the significance of the breaking of a large piece of ice in Antarctica;
we might have more bugs this summer; or will we have more rain this
Spring than last Spring, etc. etc. Such articles are not worth much and
are most likely far from the truth. There is only one who knows the
truth and that person is Jesus. This is why He asks us to read the
Gospels and ponder on His words. He himself told us that He was the
truth. We ought to put our faith in Him and to follow what He tells us.
It is true we need doctors and they can help us when we are ill but they
make terrible mistakes too. A person I know was sent away by her doctor
saying that her sickness was only in her head. She would go to him to
complain about pain, and severe pain at that. He would dismiss her
thinking she was making this up. At the end when it was too late they
found out she had ovarian cancer but it was so advanced that it was
untreatable and she died soon afterwards.
The worst is that the doctor did not accept that what she was saying was
true. He made her suffer very much. Jesus knows what is wrong with us
and He knows how to help us. This is why He calls us to remain close to
Him and learn from Him. His love for us is sure and He always accepts us
as we are.
Let us dedicate ourselves to Him today and listen to what He has to tell
us.
May the Lord bless you and fill us with Easter joy and peace.

TRUST IN ME
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Good afternoon! I arrived a short time ago from Summerside and I might
have time to write the message for today before I leave for Tignish and
the celebration in honour of the Divine Mercy.
In prayer this morning Jesus said, "Melvin, my brother and friend, I
love you. On this last day of the Octave of Easter which is the Second
Sunday of Easter, you remember again my resurrection from the dead. I
am risen and the world will never be the same. Today is also Divine
Mercy Sunday. I asked Faustina to make the Church aware of my Mercy.
This is the time of mercy, my people, come and trust in me. In me you
will find an abundance of mercy if you are sorry for all your sins. As
I forgave those who nailed me to the cross, I will forgive you also if
you throw yourselves on my mercy and ask for forgiveness. I am merciful
because I love you. I am pleased that the Pope has designated this
Sunday, the Second Sunday of Easter, as I had told Sr. Faustina as
Divine Mercy Sunday. See how my heart burns for each one of you, my
friends. May the flames of my mercy wash away all sin and make you
acceptable to the Father. Come, my brothers and sisters, to me without
fear and plunge yourselves into the ocean of my mercy and be renewed.
Trust in me. I love you."
Indeed Jesus' mercy is divine. We will never be able to fully understand
this great mercy of His. He suffered and gave His life for us in order
to pay the price for our sins. We are the ones who should have been
crucified because we are sinners, but Jesus, the sinless one, the Son
of God, took our place and suffered instead of us. By His death we won
life, eternal life. Let us come close to Him in humility and sorrow and
ask Him to have pity on us. Let us also pray for the conversion of
sinners. He desires the salvation of every person in the world. Let us
trust in His Divine Mercy.
May we all open our hearts to His love and mercy.

PRAY MY CHILDREN
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
In prayer this morning, Jesus spoke to me saying, "Melvin, my brother,
I love you. Let us go and visit Our Mother." I joyfully said "yes" and
Jesus took me to her home. She welcomed us saying, "I welcome you, Jesus
and Melvin, in the joy of Easter. Jesus, my Son, you are the Risen Lord
who has defeated death and you will live forever as the Saviour of the
world. Welcome Melvin, my priest son, may your heart be full of the
peace and joy of Easter. Do come and sit down. There is great rejoicing
in heaven among the angels and saints this week as it is Easter Week.
Jesus, my Son, suffered greatly to accomplish your Redemption. He paid
the supreme sacrifice by dying on the cross but rose gloriously on
Easter morning. He is now sitting at the right hand of the Father for He
is the Son of God and Saviour of all. Jesus is calling all the peoples
of the world to become His followers. He is the only Saviour of the
world. During this solemn week of Easter I wish to impress upon you
again, Melvin and all my children, my great desire to have a shrine
built in Prince Edward Island in my honour. It will be my home among
you where great miracles of grace will take place. I will pour my love
upon all those who will come to visit me there. Many will submit
themselves to Jesus and follow Him as their Redeemer. Pray my children
that this shrine will become a reality soon. I bless you all."
There is great joy in heaven during this week of Easter at the
resurrection of Our Lord. Our Lady greeted us with the joy of Easter.
All those who believe in Jesus as their Saviour are also full of joy at
the great news that He is Risen from the dead. We should also know that
if Jesus has risen from the dead then we too will rise one day. Our Lady
again makes known her great desire for a shrine on the Island. She asks
us all to pray that it will soon be a reality.
Tomorrow's message will be late. I hope to write it after I come home
from the service in Tignish.
May Our Lord and Our Lady bless you all with peace and joy.

I AM YOUR COMPANION
Dear Rita,
In my prayer early this morning, I was with Jesus who spoke saying,
"Melvin, my brother, I embrace you. We are still in Easter Week, a week
of great joy because of my resurrection from the dead. May this week,
my friends, revive your faith in me and see that you, too, can overcome
all obstacles if you are in me. There are grave problems in the world
and in the Church these days. The peace of the world is threatened by
the conflict in the Middle East especially in the country where I was
born and lived most of my earthly life. There are also grave scandals
in the Church which makes me sad. Pray, my brothers and sisters, that
Bishops and Priests may follow me with all their heart and that they be
men of prayer. I call them all to cooperate with my grace and live in
accordance to their consecration to me. I overcame every sin and you,
too, can conquer sin if you remain with me. Stir up your faith in me,
your Risen Saviour, and have a deep relationship with me through prayer
and good works. I am your Companion who is always at your side. I light
your way every day. I bless you and give you my peace and joy."
The Lord is sad because of what is happening these days. We have a
dangerous situation in the Middle East, with the Palestinian suicide
bombers who kill many Israelis and cause panic among the people. The
Israelis retaliate and kill many Palestinians by invading their towns.
What is the cause of all this fighting? The root cause of the trouble is
the eviction of the Palestinians from their land and home in 1948 until
today. They have a legitimate right to a homeland which the Jews have
denied them for so long. It is unfortunate that the Palestinians have
accepted terrorist tactics to try to get their lands back. Killings can
never be the right way forward. The Lord asks us to pray for peace in
the Middle East.
Let us also pray for the Church caught up in these sexual abuse cases.
Some Bishops and Priests have caused scandal to the church of the Lord.
They have not been faithful to their promises to the Lord. Let us not
forget, though, that many are faithful and have given their lives to
follow Jesus. Even among the twelve Apostles, there was Judas who
betrayed the Lord. Let us also pray for the children who were abused.
Jesus calls us today to have a strong faith in Him and to build a close
relationship with Him. Let Him light up our way and not the evil one.
Let us not be ensnared in the ways of the world for it is opposed to
God.
May Jesus bless us with an increase of faith and fill us with love and
joy.

PEACE BE WITH YOU
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
I was with the Risen Jesus in prayer this morning. He spoke to me
saying, "Melvin, I love you. You are my brother closely united to me.
As your Risen Lord, I give you and all my friends the gift of joy. My
Resurrection fills you with Easter joy. This joy is not taken away even
if you have to suffer or to mourn a loved one. It remains even in times
of disappointment and sadness. However, darkness and despair do not come
from me. They come from the evil one or from your pride and resentments.
When you reject me and turn in on yourself, you feel this emptiness and
uselessness. You feel lost as if you were in a forest at night and you
cannot find a way out. Just turn to me and I will guide you. Put your
trust in me and peace and joy will return to your heart. I am the one
who heals you and brings you peace. Do not live with resentment in your
heart for resentment is like a cancer, it will destroy you. It will
bring you only pain and suffering. Give it all to me and I will get rid
of it. Empty your heart of all this clutter and I will come and live in
you. You will indeed be part of My Mystical Body, the Church, for I, the
Risen One, am the head of the Church. My Easter greetings to you all:
Peace be with you."
It was very evident last evening at the prayer meeting that the gift of
the Lord at Easter is joy. There was great joy indeed among all those
who were present. Indeed it is the Risen Lord who is the head of the
Church. It is the Risen Lord we receive at Holy Communion. We have faith
in the Lord because He is Risen from the dead. The Risen Lord is like
sunshine in the hearts of all believers. He brings us an outpouring of
joy and peace. He helps us to rise above the mundane things of our
lives, especially the worries and preoccupation of every day. He
fulfills in a wondrous way the great longing of our heart for the God
who saves us and brings us out of ourselves. The Risen Lord frees us
from all our hang-ups, our resentments and anger. He brings us out of
darkness into His marvelous light. Let us thank Him for being there for
us, for renewing us and bringing us His great gifts of peace and joy.
May the Risen Lord fill your heart with love today.

COME AND SIT WITH ME
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Jesus was with me in my prayer this morning. He spoke saying, "Melvin, I
love you. I am Jesus resurrected from the dead and I live in your heart.
You always come to spend time with me every day. I speak to your heart
telling you of my love for you and all my friends. Our relationship
grows every day, Melvin, and it is the same for all those who make time
for me. In this Easter season I send you all the graces you need. Be
open to receive them. Many in the world have rejected me and continue to
offend me and oppose me. The Father's arm is about to strike the earth.
The chastisement will soon be upon you. Oh! if the people would repent
and turn to me, I would save them. I am your Saviour. I'm calling you
who are in darkness and sin, come back now before it is too late. Revive
your Easter faith and come back to life, life in me. I want you all to
be my friends filled with my Spirit and living according to my standards
and not the standards of the world. Come and sit with me and I will
teach you how to live as a follower of mine. Be humble and submit
yourself to me. Pray my friends for the conversion of sinners. Your
prayers are powerful as you know, Melvin. I fill you with Easter joy
and peace."
The Risen Jesus wants us all to be filled with Easter joy. He calls
us to believe in Him and live according to His standards which are the
commandments of God. We cannot love God if we do not follow the ten
commandments. There is so much darkness, hatred and sin in the world.
So many people have abandoned the Lord and walk in opposition to Him.
What joy it is for the Lord when one returns to Him, confesses his/her
sins and lives in union with Him. Every week people come to see me who
have been away from the Lord for years living with hatred and resentment
and find the peace of the Lord through His forgiveness. They shed tears
at the goodness of the Lord. Let us continue to pray for the conversion
of sinners. Because of your prayers I see the results. Some have found
the faith they lost many years ago; others are reconciled with their
spouse after a long time; still others return to prayer and go to Church
regularly. These are all miracles of grace, and the prayers of many
people have won these graces for them. Continue to pray through the
intercession of Our Lady for sinners.
May the Risen Lord continue to fill you with Easter joy.

Good morning on this dark Monday! We had plenty of rain yesterday and it
seems we will have more today. Over 100 people came to the seminar in the
Life of the Spirit last evening at Palmer Road. There were many new faces
who were very attentive. We had two powerful talks given by people I know
very well. Although they were nervous, they touched many hearts.

Good afternoon! I am back from Egmont Bay and Summerside. It rained heavily last night and all day today. With the fog and the rain, I took it easy, driving much slower.

Good morning on this day dedicated to Our Lady. We had a nice sunny day yesterday although it was windy. Today we are supposed to have rain.

Greetings on this mild and sunny day! We had a very nice day yesterday
and I hope today will be just as wonderful. I celebrated the Holy
Eucharist with children last evening in Tignish. They were very
attentive.

Good morning on this sunny day! It is supposed to be warmer today with
a light wind. Last evening I was at the Church in Palmer Road for the
beginning of the seminar in the life of the Spirit and about 100 people
came. We had two powerful talks which shows that although we may suffer
much in life and travel far from God, we know that God loves us and is
patient with us.

Good afternoon! I am very late today to send the message because we had
no power for 12 hours. It only came back on before noon. It seems an
electric post with part of a transformer caught fire and they had to
replace it. We had plenty of rain overnight but it is now clearing and
the sun will soon be shining.

Greetings on this dull Monday morning. I managed to do everything I had
to do yesterday. I began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist
at the Parish Church at Egmont Bay at 10:00 AM, then I traveled to
Summerside to St. Paul's Church for Holy Mass at 12:00 noon. I had to
rush home (about one hour away) for lunch and be at Tignish Parish
Church at 3:00 PM for the celebration for the Feast of Divine Mercy. A
good group of people came. We prayed the Divine Mercy chaplet; I gave
a talk about the significance of this feast, then we prayed the rosary
and at the end we venerated the Divine Mercy image and read together the
consecration to the Sacred Heart. It lasted one hour and twenty minutes.

Good morning! The sky is dark and the rain has already started. It is
supposed to rain for most of the day. Last evening I was at the Parish
Church in Alberton for the Feast of the Annunciation and the celebration
of life. It began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist with over
150 people. We prayed for all the children, who are God's gifts to us.
We also prayed that abortion may end in our country and in the world. At
the end all the children and parents were anointed with blessed oil. In
the afternoon I was at the Manor for Holy Mass with the residents. My
mother attended and answered all the prayers.

Greetings on this Easter Saturday! It is dull this morning and a dusting
of snow fell overnight. Yesterday evening I gave private confessions and
celebrated the Holy Eucharist at our Church in Palmer Road. Today I will
go to the beautiful church at Egmont Bay for Masses this evening and
tomorrow. At noon tomorrow I will celebrate the Holy Eucharist a second
time at St. Paul's in Summerside. In the afternoon at 3:00 PM, I will
have a service for Divine Mercy Sunday at Tignish Parish Church.

Greetings on this beautiful Friday morning in Easter Week! The sun is
shining bright and came up very early around 6:00 this morning. It is
cool though just a few degrees above the freezing point today.

Greetings on this beautiful sunny day! What a difference a day makes!
Yesterday we had rain during the day and plenty of fog in the evening.
Today everything is drying in the sun. I went to Charlottetown yesterday
and in the evening I was at the prayer meeting. Many people were present
and we had an intense hour of prayer.

Greetings on this overcast morning. There is no wind but the rain is
not far away. I hope we don't have snow as I am going to Charlottetown
today. I went for my blood tests yesterday but I did not get the results
yet. My sugars stay in the normal range now.
