“Prepare to pray, lest the sorrows of September be increased upon this land!”
These words were spoken to my heart during prayer after having received our Lord in Holy Communion last Tuesday evening. Many times I have heard the pleas:
Pray! Pray! Pray!
Penance! Penance! Penance!
Peace! Peace! Peace!
Never before had I heard, “Prepare to pray!” As I reflected upon these words in the days that followed, I clearly understood it as a call to prayer, solemn prayer for solemn times. We are entering a solemn and sobering time. It will be a period of trial and persecution – a time of purification and sanctification.
“Prepare to pray, lest the sorrows of September be increased upon this land!”
Previously we were asked to honor our Lady during September as Our Lady of Sorrows and bring to fruition two works desired of members of the Miracle of the Rosary Mission. The two works are known as Knights of the Holy Cross and Knights of Saint John.
Knights of Saint John are those members who commit to making a pilgrimage to the Cathedral or Co-Cathedral of a diocese to pray for the Holy Father, the Bishop of the diocese and his intentions, the auxiliary bishops, and all who assist the Bishop in shepherding the faithful of the diocese.
Knights of the Holy Cross are those members who respond more fully to the call to: Penance! Penance! Penance! They live a life of prayer and penance. They also seek to console the Mother of Sorrows through devotion to the Seven Sorrows. It is through her tears sure hope is given to the faithful in times of persecution. “Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.”
Devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows has begun throughout the world at different times, circumstances and ways. We encourage this devotion to all in response to our Lady’s requests. The Miracle of the Rosary Mission will respond fully as inspired. We draw on past forms of devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows and inspiration and circumstances of the present. We recommend and encourage everyone to join with us or to participate in devotions traditionally observed locally.
First – We encourage everyone to read and reflect on the writings of Saint Alphonsus Liguori on The Dolours of Mary. There are eight sections, one general and one for each of the Seven Sorrows. We encourage this to be completed before September 7.
Second – Novena of Life to Our Lady of Sorrows – The novena begins on September 7, Vigil of Birth of Mary and concludes on September 15, Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. It is offered to atone for sins against the Author of Life. We pray to overcome the Culture of Death with the Civilization of Love. This novena coincides with the establishment of the Knights of the Holy Cross on September 14, Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
Third – Novena in honor of the Holy Archangels – This novena begins on September 21 and concludes on September 29, Feast of Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. This novena coincides with the establishment of the Knights of Saint John on September 29, Feast of the Holy Archangels.
“Prepare to pray, lest the sorrows of September be increased upon this land!”
As I reflect on these words, I recall the words of our Holy Father, John Paul II. On December 11, 2002 at the General Audience the Holy Father spoke on the Canticle of Jeremiah 14: 17-21. I believe those words capture and convey well what our Mother of Sorrows desires us, her children, to hear at this time.
It has long been my understanding that Christ would take up the Cross anew through His Mystical Body, the Church; that we would pass through a time of trial and persecution – a time of purification and sanctification; that the faithful of the new era of peace would be as Fire-tried Gold.
We are reminded that people abandon God through sin. God is faithful to His covenant and ever near and present to the faithful who love God. We are reminded that persecution is not a punishment for sin, but a participation in the passion of Christ.
We are reminded that our HOPE is in the name of the Lord and that those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing.
Please see the Papal Address on Canticle of Jeremiah 14:17-21
“Prepare to pray, lest the sorrows of September be increased upon this land!”
The hour is late and what is most needed is a RESPONSE, a generous response from the hearts of the faithful to the request our Lady has made for over a century. The last time such solemn words were spoken to my heart was in August of 2001. I believe it important to clarify any possible misunderstandings. The words spoken to my heart address the “sorrows of September” not the events of September 2001. It is my understanding that the “sorrow” this land experienced that September could be increased by events in nature or by man’s inhumanity to man, or both and extending well past September. I do not believe at this point that events can be averted, but “if the people convert and return to the Lord, God will also show himself ready to go out to meet and embrace them.”
Our Blessed Mother, Mother of Sorrows, Queen of Martyrs, suffered longer and greater than that of all the Martyrs. She remained with Jesus throughout His life long Way of the Cross. She will remain with Christ’s Mystical Body throughout its journey too. Indeed, she remains with each of us to strengthen and encourage us, to console and challenge us that we too may come to share eternal life with God.
“Those who sow in tears shall reap rejoicing!”
God bless you, one and all.

RE: Mission-Moments:03FEB13 - Now listen! You people who serve the Lord
My friends,
Oh well. Sometimes what seems so obvious is not at all. This will not be the most comprehensive explanation some would probably like, but will shed some light on the situation. This part sounds almost like a riddle. Where can you quote a verse from a bible that is not in the Bible? Well, I just happen to know the answer to that question. I wish I could tell you it is due to years of scriptural training and research, but that would not be the truth. As the truth is often times stranger than fiction, here we go.
The text I quoted is found in The New Catholic Study Bible, Saint Jerome Edition; Catholic Bible Press, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishers. In this Bible is found the canons that make up the Catholic Bible, plus as listed by them, Some Additional Books, worthy of private reading, 3 to be exact: First Esdras, Second Esdras, and The Prayer of Manasseh. I have no idea why they were included in The New Catholic Study Bible, Saint Jerome Edition. Anyhow, when I noted the text as 2 Esdras 15, 16, I had know idea that different text by the same name exist in different versions of the Bible. Apparently 1 & 2 Esdras can be found in Douay Rheems, in other versions 1 & 2 Esdras are known as Esdras and Nehemiah, and in the newer versions it is found as Ezra and Nehemiah.
At the time time I was typing Mission-Moments I wanted to make note of where the text was found. I should have been more thorough. Live and learn. To answer a common question raised by Mission-Moments:03FEB13 - Now listen! You people who serve the Lord, the text is not scripture, thus the reason most cannot find it in their Bibles, that is unless you happen to have The New Catholic Study Bible, Saint Jerome Edition. Apparently, 2 Esdras I quoted from is one of the text considered by Saint Jerome when searching for “Inspired” text to be used as scripture and compiled to produce what is the Bible. For whatever reason, the 2 Esdras I quoted from has been preserved through the years. I wish I could tell you why. I wish I could tell you why it happens to be in that particular Bible. I can’t because I don’t know. All I know is the Lord has chosen to use the particular text quoted for His purpose. It was not and is not intended to be an endorsement of the whole text of 2 Esdras.
As Paul Harvey would say, now for the rest of the story. The New Catholic Study Bible, Saint Jerome Edition was a gift. I haven’t read from it in several years. The primary Bibles that I read day in and day out are Jerusalem and New Jerusalem. The Lord inspired me to use this particular Bible for His own purpose. That night after finding the Bible I notice a lone bookmark. I opened the Bible where that bookmark was found. The bookmark was at 2 Esdras 15. That would not mean much to most. The bookmark was also a gift, the gift a treasured friend, Msgr Vincent or Msgr Thu as better known. Msgr Vincent Tran Nqoc Thu, the previous private secretary to JP2 gave me a gift on one occasion. It was a book mark he had made. Please remember him in your prayers as departed this life for a better one last July. The truth is always stranger than fiction.
I hope this helps answer the questions regarding where the text is found.
God bless you, one and all.

I concluded the novena to Our Lady of Prompt Succor as requested, fifteen decades of the rosary followed by the prayers of the last day of the novena. When I had finished the Lord made His presence known and communicated the following: “Let these words go forth as first spoken.” The Lord made known His will to me and the text below are for your prayerful reflection.
God bless you, one and all.

Please note the text quoted are from 2Esdras 15, 16. The text is credited to the scribe Ezra who was revered and honored in Jewish and Christian communities. The Latin version is the only one to preserve Second Esdras in its entirety. The oldest and best known Latin manuscripts are the Codex and Sangermanensis and the Codex Ambianensis both of ninth-century manuscripts.
Now listen to my message, you people who serve the Lord. It is the Lord’s message, so receive it and believe what he says.
The Lord says, “I am going to bring terrible disasters on the whole world – war and famine, death and destruction, because wickedness has spread everywhere, and evil has reached its limit.”
“Therefore,” the Lord says, “I will no longer remain silent about the wickedness of these godless people; I will no longer tolerate it. They have murdered innocent people, and the blood they have spilled cries out to me for revenge; the souls of the righteous are constantly pleading for vengeance. Let there be no doubt,” says the Lord, “I will hear the plea of all the innocent people who have been murdered and I will take vengeance for what has been done to them.”
“The world and the people in it are doomed. The war that will bring their destruction is very near. Nations will arm themselves and fight against other nations. There will be great political turmoil. With one group trying to overpower another and gain control, while ignoring the legitimate government. There will no longer be free access to the cities, because the struggle for power will bring destruction, terror, and total confusion wherever people live. Driven by famine and terrible suffering, men will assault their neighbors and mercilessly plunder their possessions.”
God says, “I am calling together all the kings of the earth to come from north, south, east, and west to turn back and restore what they have taken. I will pay them back with the same harsh treatment they have always given to my chosen people.” The Lord says, “I will use my power, and there will be no mercy for sinners; I will put to death all who have murdered innocent people. My anger has become so fierce that fire has blazed out to burn up the foundations of the earth and to burn up sinners like straw. Sinners who do not keep my commands are doomed,” says the Lord. “I will have no mercy on them! Out of my sight, you rebels! Do not defile my holy Temple.”
Now listen to my message, you people who serve the Lord. It is the Lord’s message, so receive it and believe what he says.
The disasters are approaching rapidly, and they will not be delayed. A woman in the ninth month of pregnancy may suffer labor pains for several hours, but when the time comes for the baby to be born, there is no longer any delay. In the same way, the disasters that are coming on the earth will not be delayed, and the world will groan when it is caught in its labor pains.
Listen to my message, my people, and get ready for the battle. When the disasters come, you must live as people whose home is not in this world. Merchants must not expect to make a profit from what they sell; they must be ready to run for their lives. Their customers must expect to lose whatever they buy. Whoever builds a house should not plan to live in it. Farmers should not expect to harvest their crops or pick their grapes. Those who marry must not expect to have children, and those who don’t marry must live as if they had been widowed. Anything that is done will be useless. Foreigners will harvest the crops, seize the wealth, tear down the houses, and carry off the children as slaves. Anyone who has children will be bringing them up to be slaves or to die of starvation. Anyone who makes money will do so only to see it violently taken away. The more possessions people gather, the more they spend on their cities and houses, the more attention they give to their personal appearance, the more angry the Lord will become with them because of their sin. This is what the Lord says. Just as a respectable woman despises a prostitute, so righteousness despises sinfulness, no matter how attractive it may look. Righteousness will expose every sin in the world and condemn it face-to-face when her Defender comes. So do not imitate sinfulness or what it does, for in a very short time sinfulness will be swept out of the world and righteousness will rule among us.
Sinners must not deny their sins. Those who say that they have not sinned against God and his majesty are only bringing fiery shame upon themselves. The Lord certainly knows everything that people do; he knows their plans and innermost thoughts. When the Lord said, “Let the world be created,” it was done! When he said, “Let the sky be created,” that was done too. He set the stars in place by his command, and he knows how many of them there are. He knows what is in the deepest part of the sea and the treasures that are there. He has measured the sea and everything that is in it. By his word he confined the sea to its place and put the land on top of the water. The Lord stretched out the sky and fixed it firmly over the water like a dome. He put springs of water in the desert and lakes in the high mountains, so that water could flow down in the rivers and water the land. The Lord created human beings and gave each one of them a heart. He gave them life, breath, and understanding, which is the spirit of God the Almighty, who created everything and who knows all secrets and sees into all hidden places. My people, the Lord knows everything you plan and the secret thoughts of your heart. Sinners who try to hide their sins are doomed. The Lord will carefully examine everything you have done and bring you to judgment. On that day you will be thrown into utter confusion; all your sins will be publicly exposed and the wicked things you have done will witness against you. What will you do then? How will you hide your sins from God and his angels? God is your judge, so fear him! Abandon your sins, put away the evil you have done, and never sin again. Then God will save you from all these disasters.
A vast mob of people is ready now to descend on you and devour you like flames. They will drag some of you off and force you to eat pagan sacrifices. If you give in to them, they will ridicule you, mock you, and humiliate you. In many places near the cities there will be violent persecution against those who fear the Lord. The attackers will act like wild men; they will plunder and destroy without pity all those who still fear the Lord. They will turn them out of their homes and take away all their possessions. This will be the time of testing for my chosen people, and they will prove to be as pure as refined gold.
But listen to what the Lord says: “My chosen people, the time of terrible suffering is near, but I will rescue you. Don’t be afraid or have any doubts; I am your God and I will lead you. If you keep my laws and commands,” says the Lord, “you must not let your sins weigh you down or control you. Those who are chained by their sins, overwhelmed by the evil they have done, are doomed. They will be like a field overgrown with brush, with the path across it so choked with thorns that no one can get through. It is abandoned and doomed to be destroyed by fire.”

MISSION MOMENTS
------------------------------------------------------
My friends,
It is with a heavy heart, one filled with sorrow that communicates the following. I encourage everyone to pray for our country, USA. I would strongly encourage everyone to keep watch in faith – to stay awake and pray. This is specifically stated in reference to the period covering the next few weeks. There are grave dangers threatening our country’s present and future. Yet, Our hope is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. Prayer from the heart offered in faith can avert much and mitigate even more.
May God be with us and grant to all His peace. May the Prince of Peace have mercy on us all.
God bless you, one and all.

Sunday, July 28, 2002 Darrell Bennett
At the conclusion of the 3:00 Rosary in Lockport the following words were spoken to my heart.
"My son do not waver in your response. Encourage my children to respond with renewed vigor and with great generosity of heart apply themselves to all I have requested.
My son do not be concerned over how these things shall be accomplished. Grace shall be given you to travel in peace along the path of the will of God."
JUST WAR
III. SAFEGUARDING PEACE
Peace
2302 By recalling the commandment, "You shall not kill," [Mt. 5:21] our Lord asked for peace of heart and denounced murderous anger and hatred as
immoral.
Anger is a desire for revenge. "To desire vengeance in order to do evil to
someone who should be punished is illicit," but it is praiseworthy to impose
restitution "to correct vices and maintain justice." [St. Thomas Aquinas, ST
II-II q158, a1 ad3] If anger reaches the point of a deliberate desire to
kill or seriously wound a neighbor, it is gravely against charity; it is a
mortal sin. The Lord says, "Everyone who is angry with his brother shall be
liable to judgment." [Mt. 5:22]
2303 Deliberate hatred is contrary to charity. Hatred of the neighbor is a sin when one deliberately wishes him evil. Hatred of the neighbor is a grave sin when one deliberately desires him grave harm. "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven." [Mt. 5:44-45]
2304 Respect for and development of human life require peace. Peace is not merely the absence of war, and it is not limited to maintaining a balance of powers between adversaries. Peace cannot be attained on earth without safeguarding the goods of persons, free communication among men, respect for the dignity of persons and peoples, and the assiduous practice of fraternity. Peace is "the tranquility of order." [St. Augustine, City of God 19, 13,1] Peace is the work of justice and the effect of charity. [Cf. Is. 32:17; cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes #78, 1-2]
2305 Earthly peace is the image and fruit of the peace of Christ, the
messianic "Prince of Peace." [Is. 9:5] By the blood of his Cross, "in his
own person he killed the hostility," [Eph. 2:16; cf. Col. 1:20-22] he
reconciled men with God and made his Church the sacrament of the unity of
the human race and of its union with God. "He is our peace." [Eph. 2:14] He
has declared: "Blessed are the peacemakers." [Mt. 5:9]
2306 Those who renounce violence and bloodshed and, in order to safeguard human rights, make use of those means of defense available to the weakest, bear witness to evangelical charity, provided they do so without harming the rights and obligations of other men and societies. They bear legitimate witness to the gravity of the physical and moral risks of recourse to violence, with all its destruction and death. [Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes 78, 5]
Avoiding war
2307 The fifth commandment forbids the intentional destruction of human
life. Because of the evils and injustices that accompany all war, the Church
insistently urges everyone to prayer and to action so that the divine
Goodness may free us from the ancient bondage of war. [Cf. Vatican II,
Guadium et spes 81, 4] All citizens and all governments are obliged to work
for the avoidance of war.
However, "as long as the danger of war persists and there is no
international authority with the necessary competence and power, governments
cannot be denied the right of lawful self-defense, once all peace efforts
have failed." [Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes 79, 4]
2309 The strict conditions for legitimate defense by military force require rigorous consideration. The gravity of such a decision makes it subject to rigorous conditions of moral legitimacy. At one and the same time:
- the damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of
nations must be lasting, grave, and certain;
These are the traditional elements enumerated in what is called the "just
war" doctrine. The evaluation of these conditions for moral legitimacy
belongs to the prudential judgment of those who have responsibility for the
common good.
2310 Public authorities, in this case, have the right and duty to impose on citizens the obligations necessary for national defense. Those who are sworn to serve their country in the armed forces are servants of the security and freedom of nations. If they carry out their duty honorably, they truly contribute to the common good of the nation and the maintenance of peace.[Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes 79, 5]
2311 Public authorities should make equitable provision for those who for reasons of conscience refuse to bear arms; these are nonetheless obliged to serve the human community in some other way.[Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes 79, 3]
2312 The Church and human reason both assert the permanent validity
of the moral law during armed conflict. "The mere fact that war has
regrettably broken out does not mean that everything becomes licit between
the warring parties." [Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes 79, 4]
2313 Non-combatants, wounded soldiers, and prisoners must be respected and treated humanely.
Actions deliberately contrary to the law of nations and to its universal
principles are crimes, as are the orders that command such actions. Blind
obedience does not suffice to excuse those who carry them out. Thus the
extermination of a people, nation, or ethnic minority must be condemned as a
mortal sin. One is morally bound to resist orders that command genocide.
2314 "Every act of war directed to the indiscriminate destruction of whole cities or vast areas with their inhabitants is a crime against God and man, which merits firm and unequivocal condemnation." [Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et spes 80, 3]A danger of modern warfare is that it provides the opportunity to those who possess modern scientific weapons - especially atomic, biological, or chemical weapons - to commit such crimes.
2315 The accumulation of arms strikes many as a paradoxically suitable way of deterring potential adversaries from war. They see it as the most effective means of ensuring peace among nations. This method of deterrence gives rise to strong moral reservations. The arms race does not ensure peace. Far from eliminating the causes of war, it risks aggravating them. Spending enormous sums to produce ever new types of weapons impedes efforts to aid needy populations; [Pope Paul VI, Populorum Progressio 53] it thwarts the development of peoples. Over- armament multiplies reasons for conflict and increases the danger of escalation.
2316 The production and the sale of arms affect the common good of nations and of the international community. Hence public authorities have the right and duty to regulate them. The short-term pursuit of private or collective interests cannot legitimate undertakings that promote violence and conflict among nations and compromise the international juridical order.
2317 Injustice, excessive economic or social inequalities, envy, distrust, and pride raging among men and nations constantly threaten peace and cause wars. Everything done to overcome these disorders contributes to building up peace and avoiding war:
Insofar as men are sinners, the threat of war hangs over them and will so
continue until Christ comes again; but insofar as they can vanquish sin by
coming together in charity, violence itself will be vanquished and these
words will be fulfilled: "they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and
their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against
nation, neither shall they learn war any more." [Cf. Vatican II, Guadium et
spes 78, 6; cf. Is. 2:4
My friends,
The Miracle of the Rosary Mission has long encouraged active participation
in the International Week of Prayer and Fasting. I cannot encourage you
enough to participate this year. It has long been said that the blood of
martyrs is the seed of faith. I believe it is equally true that the shed
blood of the holy innocents, the unborn, cries for Divine Justice. As the
events continue to unfold, let us not remain indifferent or apathetic, let
us with great generosity of heart turn to God in PRAYER AND PENANCE to
implore His mercy. Please PRAY PRAY PRAY - FAST FAST FAST - PENANCE PENANCE
PENANCE. The HOUR is LATE!!!
I will be sending additional information to you during the coming days.
God bless you, one and all,

people worldwide to unite and pray in an urgent cry to end abortion and
convert nations.
An All-Day Eucharistic Prayer Vigil, that last year drew 7,000 people, is
scheduled for Monday, October 8th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Basilica of
the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The

pro-life speakers are Bud Macfarlane of the Mary Foundation; Congressman
Chris Smith; Joan Appleton, a former abortion clinic nurse, and author
Michael Brown.
Sponsored by a coalition of lay Catholic organizations, the Week is held
each year to ask people around the globe to pray and fast for just one week
in a united effort to end abortion and bring people back to God.
Individuals, pastors, bishops are encouraged to organize prayer groups,
schools, parishes and their diocese with Rosary rallies, Eucharistic
Adoration and other pro-life prayer events, and encourage participation in
parish bulletins and diocesan newsletters.
This year, the event is adding one more day, October 16, to offer prayers
for Pope John Paul II on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of his
pontificate.
During the week, Catholics are encouraged to join together in a united
effort to fast, attend daily Mass and pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine
Mercy; as well as organize prayer groups, parishes and cathedrals with
Rosary Rallies, Eucharistic Adoration, prayer chains, and other prayer
events. Non-Catholics and non-Christians similarly are encouraged to pray
and fast according to their convictions.

The following is part 1 of a composite of talks given on 1st Thursday, July
4 and 1st Friday, July 5, 2001 by Darrell Bennett.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Holy Mother, ask the Eternal Father in Jesus’ name to send the Holy Spirit to us. Beseech your beloved Spouse to come to us, to abide with us always and forever. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful. Enkindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, Lord, and they shall be created, and Thou shall renew the face of the earth. Oh God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of Your faithful, grant that in the same Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I am thankful the weather is much better than last month. I would like to begin by touching on what I was to have spoken about last month when Allison interrupted us. Many years ago, our Lady told me there would be a storm, a hurricane, that would affect our area if people did not change. A storm that would have significance for all the world.
Our Lady in the past made several references to the storm. She spoke of a series of events leading up to it. Over the course of time, these events were like passing signposts on a journey. All these years I never knew for sure if the events made known to me were related to one storm or several storms. I am certain now and understand better what She meant. If we had not seen some of these events, people would have changed. Unfortunately, essentially all of the events have occurred, particularly the recent flooding from Houston to New Orleans. Allison passed exactly on a course I was shown several years ago that a storm would pass. All of the events I was shown have taken place with the exception of one which seems will take place at the time of the storm itself. This leaves us with the event of the storm itself, a call to renewed dedication to prayer and sacrifice and to respond with greater generosity of heart to all that Our Lady has asked of us. The event to come will be difficult for many people. If there is a significant enough response from the faithful, the storm could be mitigated, but not now averted. This is meant for the people to take to heart the seriousness of the times in which we live.
It is my understanding at present, such as that may be, that the significance of the storm to the rest of the world is as follows. This hurricane did not have to happen. If people would have listened to our Lady and taken to heart the call to conversion, the suffering that mankind is soon to experience could have been mitigated or even possibly averted. A call to conversion and return to God She has echoed throughout the last century and beyond. A call recognized by our holy Mother the Church at the many sites of our Lady's appearances throughout the world. A call that is basically the same at each site: Please return to God and live holy lives according to His will.
The events relating to the hurricane I now believe to be similar to signpost on a road, a road that parallels the journey of mankind at this time. Unfortunately, having seen all the events realized seems to indicate that we have indeed reached our destination of the conclusive event, the hurricane itself. The significance for mankind is, I believe, that mankind continues on its obstinate journey to build a civilization without God and also will reach its most painful destination if people do not change.
I would like to share some of what I was shown regarding the storm. It is not my intent to scare or scandalize anyone, but I sincerely hope it may encourage you to rededicate yourself to respond more fully to what our Lady has asked of all of us.
A couple of months ago I went with a good friend to the top of the Trade Mart Building in downtown New Orleans. You have a beautiful view of the city of New Orleans from there. I told him to look around. I shared with him how I had seen the entire area affected by the storm. I told him that at the height of the storm they will not even be able to tell where the river passes through the city such will the waters be.
I have also been shown a scene depicting an area under water. In the scene the water was slightly above the first floor level of most of the homes. What I most remember about the scene was the presence of bodies. There were the bodies of several men, women, and children. Most were face down, but a few of the children were face up. It was a very disturbing site as I am sure you can appreciate. I hope it will not shock or disturb you. I hope rather that it will move you and others to such a response that this scene will remain only a memory of mine and an event averted and not realize in true life. Such is my hope in sharing this with you tonight.
It is important to remember that we are never to become fatalistic. Until an event such as a hurricane becomes a part of history, there is the hope of mitigating and averting. Our Lady has been trying to make us aware of this for centuries. Recently, about two months ago, I asked a friend to obtain a couple of statues of Our Lady of Prompt Succor from the shrine on State Street. This was 2 or 3 weeks before last 1st Thursday. The reason being, I was to keep one and have the other delivered to another person. Our Lady said the events she has spoken of are soon to be realized. She asked we have recourse to her as our patroness and encourage others too. I was given to understand this to mean Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Our Lady of Prompt Succor is not only the patroness of New Orleans, but of Louisiana as well. I more fully understood that she meant for us not to lose hope even in this late hour, but always to have recourse to her and hope in the mercy of God. It is a message that must spread throughout the world. Our Mother, Mary, is truly Our Lady of speedy help and our anchor in a world tossed by the seas of sin, wickedness, and error.
This is the last time I plan to speak of the storm or of the events surrounding it. I have never desired for people to focus on me or whatever I would have to say about hurricanes, but have always hoped everyone would be attentive and responsive to our Lady's requests that all might be avoided. As I have previously stated, we are no longer waiting. We are living in the time of fulfillment. The events that are to occur prior to the Illumination or Warning will occur over the next weeks and months. These events are but a taste of the fruits of the evils mankind has embraced and sins he has committed. Do not fear. God will also grant us a glimpse of His glory. Mankind is to experience both prior to the Illumination; for God is just and merciful. We will behold the clear distinction between what God desires for us and that which many are embracing: a culture of death, a life and world without God - the very definition of hell. At the illumination every soul will clearly know GOD IS and will then decide for God or for the world, the flesh, and the devil. Those who decide for God will receive that peace and hope that God alone can give, that which surpasses all understanding. It is this gift of God's love that our Lady is trying to reach out and give to all her children at this time. Our most loving and merciful Mother, the Mother of God, remained with Christ throughout His passion. She will remain with the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church, in this hour.
I pray that, when all is said and done, we will meet in a better place, that place prepared by Christ for all who love God. Our job is to do all we can to assure that all our brothers and sisters will be there too. Please pray that the great lose of life that will occur around the world will not be accompanied by the same loss of souls. I particularly recommend the chaplet of Divine Mercy to be prayed daily for all who will die that day. Oh, that every soul that departs this world would rise to be with God. Please respond with great generosity of heart to all our Lady asks that it may be so more than not.
God bless you, one and all.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor, hasten to help us!

MESSAGE FROM OUR LADY ON THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL
As conveyed by Father Philip, Spiritual Director for the Miracle of the Rosary Mission.
My dearest son, I know that you have suffered much and you still go through difficulties, but it's only because of the fact that seriousness of the times that we live in. The world's conscience has deadened to an extent. There are some, many, that do love Me, love My Son and the Father, but there are still many who are not interested whatsoever. Their consciences are dead.
Looking and seeing the violence and the difficulties that are going on in the world, you see, you see the situation how it is.
You, My son, Darrell, and all you members of the Mission, I ask you to keep that rosary in your hand and say it as often as you can. That is the greatest weapon after Mass and Adoration to be able to hold back the attacks of the enemy on yourselves, on the Mission, and on your families. I ask you, Darrell, and I ask you Mission members to know that I love you very much, and I am with you.
We're coming close to the end of these times, not the end of the world, the end of these times. But soon, soon, soon, things will happen. You've heard that word so often, but soon there is no doubt, because the Father's hand cannot be held back, and He must give the world an opportunity to make that choice. You, My sons and daughters, and you, My son, Darrell, have made the choice to stay with Me. That choice must be strong, especially you, My members of the Mission.
Do not become discouraged about the defects, your imperfections and even the mistakes that you make. Remember that My Son is with you, and He looks at your will. He knows that you love Him, but you must continue to go forward, not looking back, but looking at the face of My Son, Jesus.
You, My son, Darrell, must not get discouraged at the situation you find yourself, with your family, but also with yourself personally. The difficulties that you undergo, the pain and the suffering, but it is all for a purpose, My son. It is all for the purpose of saving souls, and you, too, My beloved members of the Mission, remember that you, too, are very much loved by My Son, by the Father, Spirit and by Me.
I ask you to give yourselves to Me every day and say that rosary as often as you can, even if you do not come to the Mission. Say it as often as you can. It will be the weapon that will help you and your families. It will help you to draw deeper into the heart of My Son, Jesus.
You know that the situation in the world is not what it should be. It is because they have forgotten God. You, My dearest children, and you, My son, Darrell, have given yourselves over to Me. I ask you to make that Consecration continually every day that I may take you and your family and yourselves deeper into the heart of My Son, Jesus.
This is the time of all times. It is a beautiful time to be alive, but a very difficult time because the enemy is roaring like a lion trying to devour as many as he possibly can. And, if you are not prepared, My dearest children of the Mission, if you are not prepared and if you are weak and if you let go on your prayers, your Mass, your confession, your communion, your Adoration, the rosary, you will fall. You, My son, Darrell, you must tell them that. You must tell the members of the Mission.
How important the Father looks upon the vehicle of the rosary that will be that very, very fragile chain that will tie Satan up forever in the abyss of hell. So I ask you to continue, continue in accepting that which the Lord sends to you every day, to you, My dearest children, and to you, Darrell.
Sometimes it is difficult, sometimes it is unbearable, sometimes you don't understand the reason, but I tell you the reason is only for souls, for your own purification, but also for souls.
So, My son, Darrell, and My dear members of the Mission, remember that this is the time of all times. Give yourself to Me that I may keep you close to My Son, Jesus. Do not be discouraged. Remember that I am with you. I love you, and I will never leave you.
I bless you, Darrell, and members of the Mission in the Name of My Father, Jesus, My Son, the Holy Spirit, through My hands and the hands of Joseph.
Amen.

In The Catechism Of The Catholic Church
- all other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be
impractical or ineffective;
- there must be serious prospects of success;
- the use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil
to be eliminated. The power of modern means of destruction weighs very
heavily in evaluating this condition.
