Thought of the Day
'Some people confuse acceptance with apathy (or resignation), but there's all the difference in the world. Apathy fails to distinguish between what can and what cannot be helped; acceptance makes that distinction. Apathy paralyzes the will-to-action; acceptance frees it by relieving it of impossible burdens.'
-- Arthur Gordon

NEW IMPORTANT NOTE Monday June 7:
Peace and Blessings!
This will be the final week that Mary's Remnant Ministry posts a regular news page. News pages will still be posted, and mailed out, but this will no longer happen on an established schedule after Friday, June 11, 2004.
We will still continue to post the messages that we currently send out, and maintain the rest of the site. In fact, we hope to spend more time on other parts of Mary's Remnant's web site, so expect to see a lot of updates and changes. Our journal will continue to be posted, hopefully more frequently than we have been recently. We will soon be adding several new "Friends of Mary's Remnant" ...
I simply find myself unable to continue with the demands required by posting a regular news page. Perhaps sometime in the future, circumstances will change, but for now, the 6 to 12 hours necessary in order to continue the research and posting are more than my health will allow.
Please continue to visit our pages, write to us, feel free to send us prayer requests, ideas for web sections, articles for posting, whatever you'd like to share with us. And please - keep me, and the entire ministry, in your prayers. That - more than anything, is what I ask of all of you.
This is not the end Mary's Remnant, but the beginning of a new thrust for our ministry.
In the Two Hearts,
Doris Ballard
