   Thought of the Day

"We call this food Eucharist; and no one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true and who has been washed in the washing which is for the remission of sins annd for regeneration, and is thereby living as Christ has enjoined. For not as common bread nor as common drink do we receive these; but since Jesus Christ our Savior was made incarnate by the word of God and had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so too, as we have been taught, the food which has been made into the Eucharist by the Eucharistic prayer set down by Him, and by the change of which our flesh and blood is nourished, is both the flesh and blood of that incarnated Jesus."
   -- St. Justin Martyr

NOTE: I will not be posting the news on Saturday. There are two reasons for that:

    1) My son in law, who lives with us, is entering the Church on Saturday night after a year of RCIA! On Saturday morning, he and my daughter have to go to a "rehearsal," and I will be watching two extrememly active little people, both under the age of two. I can't see myself doing my news research, and keeping an eye on my two little mischief makers at the same time.

    2) My hard drive came in! My son will take advantage of my not posting on Saturday morning, and do the installation then. Hopefully I will be back online and posting by Monday, or at the very latest by Tuesday. Please say a prayer that all of the problems I've been having with my computer will be solved by this latest effort. Thank you!

Have a blessed, joyful, and holy Easter!
