Darwinism Has Failed. Creation cries out the existence of its Creator!by Brian J. Kopp, DPM Look at the sun. A photon of its light enters your eye, impacting a cell, touching off a complex biochemical cascade that converts it to a nerve impulse that travels to the brain, to be converted to what we "see." Rhodopsin, transducin, rhodopsin kinase, and many other protein molecules are part of this cascade. Each protein is a microscopic labyrinth of amino acid chains, each chain coded on a strand of genetic material, which is in turn an enormously complex intertwining helix of nucleic acids. Every single level of complexity must work, and each chemical must be in its proper proportion and order, to make one single nerve impulse. This is the "irreducible complexity," the bare minimum, at which this particular system will work. It is an "all-or-none" proposition; anything less is a useless system, with no "survival value." Current theories of evolution cannot explain the creation, by gradual mutation over thousands of years, of an "all-or-none," irreducibly complex system. Furthermore, most paleontologists today admit the fossil record simply does not correspond with the predictions of any evolutionary theory. There are simply no "intermediate" species, despite fanciful textbook graphs and charts. Variability within a species is not evolution. One bacteria does not evolve into another, regardless of bacterial resistance, and breeding only brings out natural variability within a species, not new species. Evolutionary scientists recognize this dilemma, admit it, and therefore rejected classic Darwinian theory, as well as punctuated equilibrium theories, two decades ago. Unfortunately, they currently have no new hypothesis to fill the hole within evolutionary theory left by the death of Darwinism. Evolutionary theory, however, is the foundation stone of secular humanism and atheism. Those who adhere to these philosophical positions will continue to call for the indoctrination of our schoolchildren to propagate this error, and attempt to silence any opponent by branding them a fundamentalist anti-intellectual. Creation cries out the existence of its Creator! If there were any more blatant evidence for the existence of the Judeo-Christian God, it would violate our free will. We would not love and serve God willingly but as frightened robots who have no free will because of the terror of the Almighty God. God loves us enough to not violate our free will, allowing us to have Faith by hiding His awesome glory. But any simple child can figure out the existence of God. It takes a grown up intellectual fool to deny Him. That's the crux of the problem of the modern world---we ALL know God exists, but like a child we refuse to admit it because, frankly, we enjoy our sin and our comfortable indifference to the suffering of the world.
Nothing is more tragic than an intellectually arrogant atheist/agnostic/pagan shaking his fist at a God he knows exists but refuses to acknowledge because of the duties it would impose on him and his behavior if he admits it. Augustine said that those who refuse to believe in God usually have a reason for wishing He did not exist.
