Shells are falling all around us now. The devastating consequences of sexual immorality are simply irrefutable

     During the World Wars, some shells were difficult to hear if coming directly at a soldier. However, another soldier just a few steps away could hear an incoming shell's whistle, and would yell out, "Incoming!" All took cover, and lives were spared by his vigilance.

     Shells are falling all around us now. The devastating physical, psychosocial, and spiritual consequences of sexual immorality are simply irrefutable. There is little debate within the medical field, aside from the politically-correct pseudoscience of a vocal minority, that homosexual sex is inherently disordered and deadly.

     Yet today when a vigilant friend in the foxhole yells "Incoming!" he is accused of being bigoted, intolerant, and hateful. Meanwhile the poor soldiers are told that a thin latex helmet will protect them from the annihilating explosion and that it is not even necessary to get out of the path of the incoming shell.

     Obviously, sin makes one stupid. The homosexual advocates think themselves enlightened and compassionate. This "compassion" kills. Their comrades get sick and die, despite their rhetoric of safe sex and civil rights.

     Their anti-intellectualism is exposed by their obstinate refusal to examine unbiased scientific data and their emotional and vicious labeling of opponents, the definitive mark of this "Gay McCarthyism."

     Yet the message of Christ is "Be not afraid," not afraid to embrace the hope of leaving a self-destructive lifestyle, not afraid of the hateful labels of the ignorant, and certainly not afraid to speak the Truth, as the shells fall all around us.
